Sewing Projects!

As you know I'm doing sewing and scrapbooking projects to ease the pain of this pregnancy. Today my very talented mother taught me how to applique. I decided to put some neckties on onesies. The first picture are big brother little brother matching and then the other two I made exclusively for Alex. This applique stuff might get addicting.

Feelin' Crafty!

This is a baby wubby and some burp cloths I finished yesterday. I won't say who they are for though! :)
I scrapbooked today and had a ton of fun doing it. Most of these pages are at my baby shower right before Alex was born. This one was of me opening gifts.
These two are people playing the Word scramble.

Emma and Shae before the party started
Me opening more gifts.
The decorations and food next to Pat and Marilee who threw me this awesome shower.
And one page that had nothing to do with the baby shower.

We love Elmo!

Last Wednesday my parents took their daughters and grandchildren to our favorite restaurant Manuel's and kids eat free and a balloon artist is there. He made Alex an Elmo and Emma a pegasus. The kids loved their balloon animals and Alex played with it all weekend. First the legs popped then the arms and then he decapitated it and banged it on every surface in the house. Never have I seen a kid have so much fun with a balloon.

Elmo riding the pegasus. Emma wanted to bring it for show and tell but we were afraid that some kid would pop it and ruin her day so we told her it needed to stay at home.

Easter Sunday Lunch at Marilee's

24 people came to Marilee's for Easter lunch. It was a fun family get together where my mom played photographer and these are just a few of the pictures she took. This one here is Justin, Ana Paula and their son Joshua.
This is a few of us relaxing on the couch while several people are helping set up in the kitchen.
My mom Karen and my sister Rachael.
Me (I wasn't feeling well that day but didn't much care about that because I was just happy to be around family) Chris holding Alex and him squirming out of his reach to be with his cousin Emma.
Marilee and Amy getting ready in the kitchen. The food was sooo good. There was ham, potatoes, homemade rolls, jello, green beans almondine, veggies and 9 desserts! I overindulged on the key lime pie (one of my personal faves) and the carrot cake. There was also terrific lemon pie, sugar free apple pie (which doesn't taste sugar free at all) and banana creme pie and some others. Needless to say no one went home hungry. Marilee sure does know how to throw an awesome party!

Egg Hunt

I had problems rotating these. Emma and Alex hunting Easter Eggs. Alex mostly liked throwing the eggs.
