Pregnancy Woes

It's a boy!
A picture of one of his feet.
The front of his face and you can see the umbilical cord in this one. Just below the side view and he was yawning in this picture.

On Friday I went to my doctor about the whole preeclampsia problem and she assured me that it is borderline at this point and I will just be monitored closely. I told her my sinuses were getting worse and she told me to just take some allergy medicine along with Mucinex D. I have been doing that and got really concerned in the middle of the night last night when I started coughing and couldn't stop for several minutes. My mom was worried too and took me back to the doctor today especially since I lost my voice 4 days ago and seemed to be getting a lot worse. I have bronchitis now and will be staying in bed most of the time for several days but at least I finally got some antibiotics. On the flip side I had an ultrasound yesterday and the baby is growing steadily and his growth rate is normal and fluid levels are normal. So the good news is the baby is great!

The Name Game

Chris and I are completely divided on what to name the new baby. I want to name him Sebastian and Chris wants to name him Charles. We are NOT naming him Charles and Chris says we are not naming him after a singing crab. Of course we are having a boy because we had a girl name all picked out. We've been through this before. Before we knew we were having a boy when I was pregnant with Alex we had a girl name picked out then too. Sooo if we had two girls their names would be Hannah Cherie and Charlotte Elizabeth. And we agreed on those names too. It took us months to come up with Alexander James Williams so we're back to square 1 with this one.

New pics of Alex!

Alex loves this game! I throw him on a pillow and he laughs and laughs.
Alex figured out who that cute boy in the mirror is.
Alex protesting something. He likes to yell and make different sounds. I think he is trying out his voice. This kid loves to talk and hates to walk. He can walk but won't most of the time. He is stubborn. I wonder which parent he got that from hehe. The most he has walked is nine steps in a row (without holding on to something).
Peek-a-boo!
This kid was trying to distract his grandma and not get his clothes on this morning. He kept playing peek-a-boo. Eventually grandma won the fight.

It's a boy!

To celebrate the new baby I bought him a new outfit. I decided on this swimsuit since he'll be born in June.

Back in Time Part Deux!

In October 2009 Emma, Alex, Me and my parents went to Schnepf farms. There is me and my baby sitting in the children's play area in the shade.
There we are at the bee ride. It was the first ride Alex ever has been on. I rode with him and my dad rode with Emma.
Alex and me flying high. You can just barely see his head right next to my arm. Alex had fun and wasn't scared at all.

These are the decorations from my mom's 50th Birthday Party Oct. 2009. We recently downloaded a bunch of pictures from her camera. The colors were pink, purple and of course black.

These Past Couple of Weeks!

Alex playing at Grandma Williams house.
G-ma took him to the park.
The first time Alex got to swing.
Alex with his first car. And Below with his indoor car/walker. Grandma and Grandpa provide such fun toys for him to play with. Alex loves spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.

I have been very sick during this pregnancy, much sicker than I ever imagined. On top of the abdominal pain I've been having I have also had flu like symptoms for over a month. In the past week I got much sicker and I think it's due to Emma coming home from school sick one day about 2 weeks ago. After she was almost well Rachael got it then Alex got it while we were at home for the weekend and then Chris got it. Alex had it for several days and then my mom who has been taking care of everyone got really ill and I started to feel worse too. She found out that she has bronchitis and I went to the doctor too and they tested me for valley fever although I know I don't have that because I have the same symptoms as everyone else.

So Valeree watched Alex Tuesday through Saturday to give everyone a chance to get better. She has been regularly taking him Tuesdays and Thursdays during this difficult time. Thank goodness for family. What would I ever do without them.
