These past couple of weeks

We have been looking for a new house now for the last few weeks and have found one. My life has been consumed with packing and talking to our real estate agent. We should be moving the first week of May probably on my birthday during Chris's final exam week. Good timing eh? Alex can now flip over when on his back too! He likes tummy time more and more and he looks like he wants to crawl. Also he has starting eating rice cereal and oatmeal regularly. I tried him out on peas and carrots this week. Peas took a couple tries before he ate them well but carrots he loved right away.

A silly picture of Mommy kissing baby Alex's feet! Mommy likes to pretend to eat his feet and he gets a kick out of it!
The first time Alex tried rice cereal!
On Monday April 6th Rachael and Emma met up with us. We first went to a community event called Family Fun Van where the kids get to play, have stories read to them, and make a craft. The best part about it is that the kids get a free book as well. At this particular one a representative from PBS gave the kids a magnifying glass and asked a few people if she could take a picture of the kids. The lady chose Emma and Alex as well and we had to sign photo release forms! I thought that was a riot. After we did that we went swimming. The above picture is Alex in his swim suit I bought for him that day since it was his first day in the pool. He absolutely loved it. My little fishy I now refer to him because he kept dunking his face in the water and I really had to watch him. I can't wait to get this kid swimming lessons!
