Alex and the new phenomenon of learning to crawl!

On Saturday 3 days before Alex officially started crawling, he figured out how to move forwards in his walker. Now he is unstoppable!
For a long time Alex would rock back and forth on his hands and knees trying to crawl. Now he gets up on his feet and just in the last few days he gets himself up and then slams himself down and inches forward at an ever increasing rate.

These are pictures of Chris heating and mixing ingredients to make rocket engines. He has taught the teenager next door to us and now has become this kid's hero. I just smile and nod and hope nothing blows up.

Justin, Ana Paula, and Joshua came to visit us for the day! We had fun swimming and Justin and Chris built rockets (like the good old days when they were teenagers) and they actually launched some. It was pretty cool. It was a really fun day!
